So, who the hell am I?
I’d always like to hear feedback on my comics (good or bad) if you’d rather e-mail me than leave comments, drop me a line at baboonbooks@comcast.net.
If you’d like to see my online portfolio, check it out here: Richard John Marcej’s Portfolio
Thanks.
I’m a 50+ year old artist who’s been drawing (mostly comics) since as far back as I can remember. After school, then Art School I’ve worked:
• In animation for a very short time (knew it wasn’t for me)
• Spent 5 years working at Hasbro (during their glory days in the mid to late 1980’s) as a package designer, illustrator and toy designer
• Spent 11 years at Hallmark Cards (stayed there waaaaay too long!) as an illustrator and designer
• Spent 3 years as an Art Director, designer and illustrator for Concord Confections (Dubble Bubble bubblegum/Tootsee Rolls/Cry Baby)
• Throughout the last few decades have done a ton of freelance for many companies and have drawn/inked/written & published my own comic books through Baboon Books
One tiny problem I can see right off the bat is when I click on your portfolio, it tells me I’m not authorized to look at it.
That might be a problem.
Thanks. I’ve had some problems with the web provider. I’m planning on changing the layout to the site beginning on January 1, 2016. The new layout will hopefully be cleaner and will have a workable link to my portfolio.
