I’ve been very fortunate to have been living in this neighborhood for the last 14 years and this is one of the reasons. It’s a community that goes out of it’s way to hold events like our annual Block Party.

And while the end of my comic may depict me as some drinking degenerate, yes, I had  bit of a buzz (drinking beer throughout a hot Saturday afternoon will do that) knowing that I didn’t drive and could (should?) easily make my walk of just six houses away from where we held the party didn’t worry me about my trip home.
