This whole “infestation” of yellow jackets has been perplexing. I couldn’t find any nests outside around the kitchen so I don’t think they’d been coming form out there (and there aren’t any noticeable holes in the window screens in any of the windows). Could they have been coming down from the attic (I haven’t checked up there) perhaps, but I don’t know how they would have been getting down here. Though to be clear, just because I haven’t seen any in the last few weeks doesn’t necessarily mean they haven’t been there when I wasn’t there.

I just hope they’re gone for good.
