So, once a year (as many that can make it) all of the Siemens Graphic Designers get together for a week long summit, learning new techniques, trading ideas and getting a chance to meet other designers from all over the country. It should be fun and informative.

Though the drive to Buffalo Grove would be up to 9 hours I wouldn’t mind. For the length of time I’ll be gone and since it’s not that far away, it’s very doable for me. I don’t mind long drives.

As for the passport, I’ve had two passports in my life and unfortunately let them both lapse. With this new “Real ID” requirement we’ll need, I’d rather just get a passport and be done with it, since I could use that everywhere, not just in the US. Though, I probably should have ordered one weeks ago cause if I have to fly next month, no way will I get it in time.
