To tell you the truth, at this stage of my job search, I wasn’t surprised by any of this. Not hearing back from a recruiter about a position they’d submitted you for is par for the course, sadly. I didn’t even have the option of seeking out the company myself, since recruiters won’t tell you the company. Obviously, they don’t want you to circumvent them, but not having the ability to present myself is extremely frustrating.
