I realize that following sports teams, in the big picture of life, doesn’t mean a damn thing. The rational side of me knows that if “my team” loses or wins won’t effect my life one bit.

Rationally I know that.

But following and rooting for sports teams is part of my DNA and I can’t change it.

So yes, the Pirates losing this one-and-out Wild Card game pissed me off.
