When I give Halloween candy I have a “Candy give-away Hierarchy”

I give all the sweet and sour type candies first, then the chocolate bars followed by the chocolate/peanut butter candies. This is both benevolent and part selfish on my part. I know kids like candies a lot so I make sure they get them and if I end the evening with leftover treats, they’re all the chocolate/peanut butter types which I like a lot!

So I began the evening giving:

1. Skittles
2. Starburst
3. Nerds
4. Nestles Crunch
5. Twix
6.  M&M Peanuts
7. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

This kid (in the Hulk costume?) would have gotten something he’d actually liked if he’d shown up earlier.
