Daily Comic Journal: October 24, 2017: “What Am I Saving? Nothing!”
Any kind of coupon, or discount or sale are created by retailer and restaurants to get you in the door. Once you’re there, if the service is great, or food is great or purchased products are great, the consumer is MORE likely to return. Thus, a steady customer is born.
Yes, my lunch was good (and it was nice to catch up with a friend) but while the food left a good taste in my mouth, this “pinch-penny cheapness” left a REALLY bad taste in my mouth.
Now I’m not a businessman, but as far as I can tell, there are many choices consumers can make when dining out, so why would they return to a place that makes petty decisions like this?
Or am I just making something out of nothing?
