Yes, making batteries taste bad will probably prevent a lot of kids from swallowing batteries and getting sick and probably dying. But when I first heard that commercial it just truck me as odd, that a selling point for a battery wouldn’t be its energy life or how effective it’s power is, but that it tastes horrible so kids won’t ingest it. Though, wouldn’t there still be a danger if the child put it in their mouth that it would clog their throat?

Well, the main thing from this comic is since I’ve never had kids my first reaction is never the possible dangers for little ones. I mean, I don’t think cats swallow batteries, do they?
