Daily Comic Journal: October 18, 2017: “Talk And Walk, Walk And Talk.”
I don’t know why, but when I have phone interviews I don’t just sit and talk. I feel more comfortable walking around and talking. So for an hour today I could be seen walking around my living room, dining room, hallway, for about an hour. Talking about my work, myself and my professional history.
My verdict? Like mod recent interviews, I think I presented myself very well. Will it lead to a job offer? Who knows anymore.
One of the things they taught me when I was out of work was that standing when you first greeted a person on the phone would make your voice “friendlier” than if you were sitting. Don’t know if that’s true, but I still do it whenever I’m calling someone I don’t know.
Good luck with this opportunity. I hope you’ve already heard back and are now an employee of American Textile.
