Terrence Mack’s films aren’t for everyone. His unique approach to filming and storytelling can be off putting for many people. He also makes films very infrequently, so when he does, they can run very, very long. “A Hidden Life” is 2 hours and 54 minutes long, so if sitting through a long film is a turn off for you, you should probably pass on this.
