Daily Comic Journal: November 11, 2021: “She Nailed It.”
This is one of those instances where living alone can be a detriment. If I was in a relationship, living with a woman, there’s no way that my toe would have gotten so out of control. She would have pointed it out, numerous times, forcing me to see a podiatrist long before today. Fortunately, my expensive Cobra Health Care covers this.
Toe nail fungus is very difficult to get rid of. I had to take a pill (prescription), soak my toes in a combination of Listerine and vinegar twice a day, and use a prescription “shampoo” on my toes before showering… for six months. Good luck.
Yeah, I’ve had it for years and have put off doing anything about it because I’ve read about how much of a hassle the treatment is, compared to the fairly minor inconvenience the fungus is causing (mostly that it is a bit hard to clip the nails attacked by it). In addition it used to be that the treatment involved some medication with rather heavy side effects that I didn’t feel like going through – though I believe alternative treatments have now been found.
The medication I had to ingest was Terbinafine – no adverse effects.
