Daily Comic Journal: November 11, 2017: “Happy.”
Yes. It’s official!
After nearly three full years of unemployment (a few stop gaps, April and May of 2016 working for Spirit Halloween, November of 2016 for Zucconi Idea Agency and my short tenure with Plow & Hearth that was supposed to be full time- but wasn’t, earlier this year) I finally have a full time job.
Discussing the offer on the phone in my car yesterday, a little negotiating, and ending with my accepting it, I’ve begun (electronically on the net) filling out the needed forms to really make it official.
So, as one chapter ends, on a story that lasted far longer than I could have imagined back in January of 2015, a new chapter begins.
Congratulations, Richard. I had a feeling a couple weeks back that you had been successful. Good luck with (I presume) your relocation, and have a very Merry Christmas.
Thanks! and a Happy Christmas to you too.
(and yes, now the story not only includes starting a new full time job, but moving too. When it rains it pours)
