In the late 1970’s/early 1980’s the film “Let It Be” made the rounds playing the midnight show at theaters. That’s when I saw it. It was an abridged version (very abridged) of what this documentary is. They’d cut so much out of it and skewed the gist of the film, painting Paul and Yoko as the villains that “broke up the Beatles”, that it was a pretty depressing movie. Seeing this film that included all that went on and what they were planning on doing was a much enjoyable viewing. I’m glad I bought the DVD since I’m sure I’ll revisit it in the future.
