If I was still out of work (okay, “technically” I haven’t started my new job yet so I’m still out of work) I wouldn’t have bothered buying a cord of firewood. Fire wood and using my fireplaces isn’t really a necessity. It’s more of an atmospheric perk. But, since I know paychecks will be coming soon, bring on the fire wood! (and really, it wasn’t that expensive)
