I’m guessing that nearly everyone who reads this probably have never heard of Pud before. I know I hadn’t, before I started working at Concord Confections with Dubble Bubble products. When it comes to comics with gum, nearly everyone remembers Bazooka Joe with Bazooka Bubble Gum but not Pud and definitely not ‘Dub and Bub’, even though those characters and comics with gum started with Fleer’s Dubble Bubble decades before Bazooka Joe.
