Okay, it may come off here as if I’m cheap, getting a hamburger and fries for my mom on Mother’s Day, but in fact, I think she really enjoyed it.

Before this pandemic hit, my mom’s Friday routine was to get her hair done, next, do some grocery shopping and then a stop at Burger King to pick up a Whopper Jr. and fries to either eat there or take it home and eat. She’s always liked their burgers. Well, she hasn’t had her Friday routine in a couple months. When she found out today that they’ve been open, drive thru only, she was both surprised and happy.
