Daily Comic Journal: March 9, 2021: ‘It Can’t Carry The Load.”
I’ve never been an excellent physical specimen or one of those weight lifting obsessed people. But since I was 18, 19, 20 I was a jogger and a runner. In fact, this same park, White Oak Park where I’m walking today, is where I jogged when I was that age. I’ve also been a member of a gym wherever I’ve lived. I’ve been a member of Golds, of Bally and now Planet Fitness along with other localized, non franchise gyms, mostly so I’d have a place to run and jog when it was too cold to run in the winter. But over the last year, because of the pandemic, I had no gym to go to and because I wanted to stay away from others as much as possible, I avoided the park. So, I’m paying the price with a gut I want to (and IMO, need to) get rid of.
