There are two reasons why I have a land line phone.

One, when I got my cable hook up, I got the triple play, because in the long run it was cheaper to add phone service with the cable and internet.

Two, I discovered that downstairs in my family room and studio, the cell phone reception is really spotty. So with a land line, I can make uninterrupted phone calls while downstairs.

I noticed in early February that I wasn’t getting a dial tone on my land line. So why I haven’t I got it fixed yet? Well, getting it fixed means I’d have to call Comcast customer service.

The longer I can avoid dealing with them, the better.
