I’ve seen “The Birds” dozens of times, but all on TV. Seeing it for the first time on the big screen was fun, especially in a classic old theater like the Colonial Theater. (feel free to read my comic of January 20, 2012 where I draw and describe the Colonial Theater). Another fun aspect of this viewing was watching it uncut with no commercials and nothing to distract me from the film, so I was really able to concentrate on Hitchcock’s direction, the dialogue and the acting. If any of you get a chance to see old classic films in the theater, do yourself a favor and do it!

It was also nice to see and hang out a bit with Pam. She’s become a good friend.

It was really also good for my psyche to get away from my loneliness at home and go out into the public, albeit for a short time.
