When I was a teenager well into my 20’s and 30’s, especially before owning films on DVDs and BluRays, I would buy movie soundtracks. I still own them whether on CD, Cassette Tape or LPs. Here are the soundtracks for “Blade Runner” and “John Carpenter’s The Thing”.

As an added note, this soundtrack for “Blade Runner” is NOT by Vangelis. The story goes, that Vangelis didn’t want to record an LP of his score. This version is by The New American Orchestra, but it sounds almost exactly like Vangelis.
