The “Time Dilation” that I talk about is a concept that Einstein’s theories of relativity explain. In this movie, during a four-minute test flight, Buzz discovers that four years have passed on the planet (T’Kani) he was marooned on, due to Time Dilation. As Buzz continues testing the hyperspace fuel, more years pass on T’Kani, eventually totaling over 66 years.

That’s pretty heady stuff for an animated film.
