Like I said, it’s not surprising that this park can be filled with groups and families barbecuing on weekends, but it dawned on me as I was walking back to my car that tonight, especially, would be crowded with revelers. It’s the first day of summer. The longest day. The park closes at dusk, so everyone’s trying to take advantage of those extra minutes.
