When I was, 11, 12 years old, along with being a comic book fan and monster movie fan I was a fan of Kung Fu. Specifically of David Carradine’s TV series, “Kung Fu” and of the Marvel Comics series “The Hands Of Shang Chi, Master of Kung Fu”.

Now, I never had any desire to take up karate or any martial arts, I just enjoyed watching it. So it was no surprise that when “Enter The Dragon” played in our local theater that I’d want to see it. It’s one of those long ago memories I have, of seeing it with my father (I’m sure it was rated R because of the violence and brief nudity.)
