Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not totally dismissing any of these open positions. I’m not saying that these recruiters won’t do anything to, at least, get me an interview, let alone a job with any of these companies. Unless you’ve been in my shoes, searching for a job, in the past two decades, you won’t truly understand how frustrating it can be talking with these recruiters. They make it sound as if you’ll be perfect for this position and that an interview is just around the corner and then … nothing. Nada. You never hear from them again. Though, considering that many of them have such a heavy accent and that English isn’t their first language, maybe not hearing from them again isn’t such a bad thing.
