For those of you who don’t know or aren’t aware about the scene from “All In The Family” that I’m referencing here (and by god, I hope there are none of you who don’t even know what “All In The Family Is” !!!!) I’ll try embedding a video of that scene here.
I think you must take off a shoe-and-a-shoe, then take off a sock-and-a-sock… unless you’re putting your socks over your shoes?? 🙂
I also remember the Archie-Meathead dialogue, which I think of when I sometimes put on a sock-shoe-sock-shoe.
Mad Magazine ran the line a couple of times, of someone putting on their shoes and socks… in that order.
