I shouldn’t forget to mention the other reason that Major League Baseball has gotten so difficult to watch or care about over the last few decades. Unlike the NFL and NHL there’s no salary cap. MLB is still ruled by money.

Franchises, teams don’t compete and win championships because of talent, they win because they can afford to pay obscene salaries for talents. As long as baseball continues to be run by this unequal way, where a handful of big money teams always can afford to compete while the rest can either never compete or just compete for one, maybe two years then fall back down in the cellar, Major League Baseball will continue to be unwatchable.
