Frankly, I’m surprised I don’t see more of this. I think maybe there’s a sign posted in the park, somewhere, saying not to use this area to practice driving, but if there is, I disagree with it. There are plenty of parking areas to practice. In fact, there are even a few steep hills along the road that if you’re teaching someone how to drive a manual car, they could practice starting and stopping so they won’t get in the habit of drifting back.

Maybe the park owners try to discourage this practice because of the many walkers who use it, but I don’t know. I think they both could learn to live and thrive here with each other.
