I know that many of my comics from last year dealt with the fact that I’m out of work, not earning any money (and yes, I’m still unemployed). So you might be asking; “If you’re out of work, how can you justify doing to the movies? Especially paying to see a movie for a second time?” Well, for one thing, the Phoenix Theater charges $5.00 for every move, every showing and that’s a pretty good deal. But most importantly, going to the movies is my only enjoyment these days. I can’t afford concerts, ball games, hockey games or going away on trips. So, until (and frankly, if) I get a job and start getting a paycheck again, this is the only form of entertainment I have that I can go to.
