After I graduated art school in 1981 I attempted several comic strips that I wrote, drew and submitted to syndicates. They were all rejected.

While working days as a package designer at Hasbro in the 80’s and as an Illustrator at Hallmark in the 90’s I would work on comic strip ideas at night and on weekends and submit them to syndicates. They were all rejected.

In the late 90’s into the 00’s while working days at Hallmark and as a graphic designer at Computer Expressions and as an Art Director at Concord Confections I wrote, drew and published comic books (“Bastard Tales” and “Action Figure”) I printed thousands of copies and lost money. They were rejected by comic book shops and comic book reader.

As far back as I remember, as a very youg boy, my only dream, my only goal in life was to be a Professional Cartoonist.

I’m no closer to fulfilling that dream today than I was when I was 4 years old.
