Yes, this morning from out of nowhere, an ear worm for a song I haven’t heard for nearly 50 years pops into my head. (and I can sing nearly the whole damn song!)

The song was for one of the many animated shorts that singer-songwriter and satirist Tom Lehrer wrote for the PBS show “The Electric Company” back in 1972. Now statistically, I was probably too old (11 years old) for the demographic of that show’s audience, but it was a clever and funny (while teaching) show that starred, among others, Rita Moreno, Morgan Freeman (and before we knew he was a serial rapist) Bill Cosby.
