I’m probably thinking too much about my last house and comparing all that I see today with it. Sure, I was in a neighborhood, but I had a nice size backyard and felt I had plenty of room not only with the homes to either side but with the ones at the back as well. I understand that if I choose to live closer to the city the trade off is less space, but these are suburban neighborhoods. (and if there’s anything that makes a street feel cluttered and cramped it’s cars, SUV’s & trucks parked all over the place.)
