Maybe TV commercials come in waves. As I mention, when I was in my early 20’s, which was the early 1980’s, many ads that ran during daytime TV were for getting a job. Most notably truck driving (though if I recall there were a lot of tech job ads too). But I swear, for the last month, these ads for drug and alcohol recovery clinics have been on a constant loop! First, I didn’t realize there was so many such places in this area and second, are that many people screwed up with addiction? If so, that would answer a lot of questions with where we are in the world these days..
