Daily Comic Journal: December 17, 2019: “A Disappearing Tradition.”
I suppose since I’ve had a job and worked all year (therefore would have afforded the printing cost) I could have designed, illustrated and printed a Christmas Card this year, but… I just didn’t get around to do it. Just didn’t feel like it I guess.
I’d created and sent out personal Christmas Cards for nearly 30 years and I’m sure if I dug through all of my comics I’d come across various ones where I talk about creating these cards and mailing them out. I’d usually mail and hand out over 100 cards every year.
Maybe I’ll get around to making a card in 2020. We’ll see. Still, it won’t stop this trend of diminishing cards arriving every year. That’s just something I’ll have to accept.
