Daily Comic Journal: December 11, 2017: “I’ve Been Dethroned.”
Because my medical coverage, since my Cobra coverage ran out early in 2016, didn’t cover dental, I wasn’t too surprised with this “loosening”. For years and years I’d always get my teeth cleaned twice a year and was on top of any dental problems I’d encounter, but with no dental insurance, I haven’t been able to keep up with maintaining my dental health.
And to prove that I’ve not only been a responsible dental patient but that I’ve been writing and drawing these comics for awhile now, here are a few dental visits from the past:
• A teeth cleaning in 2013
• Losing half a crown in 2012
• Replacing that crown in 2012
You’ve probably had it repaired by now, but there’s a temporary cement available for crowns. I had to get it for a temporary crown that fell out a few days before my appointment to get the permanent crown.
