Perhaps if they weren’t so skittish with abrupt noises they wouldn’t feel the need to take off running around the house. Well, at least they have the carpeted family room downstairs, and the steps that lead to it, if they feel the need for speed, to run around the house.

Eventually I plan on buying some oriental rugs to place in the living room and dining room, but until then, there’ll be a lot of clickiting and clackiting around the house.
