This is one of those comics that when I decided to go a specific route, I knew that the majority of people reading it would have no idea what I was talking about. But, since I don’t make any money from these, I have no editor and barely have any readers, I said screw it, I’m going to write/draw what I want to.

In the 1970’s, thanks to PBS (local channel 13 WQED) I was exposed to a ton of British comedy, mostly from the BBC. Monty Python of course, along with Fawlty Towers the Goodies and The Two Ronnies, to name a few. The Ronnies (Ronnie Corbitt & Ronnie Barker) had a similar style of humor to that of Benny Hill (who I’d eventually see by the end of the decade when many Thames Television comedies were brought over to the states.)

If you like silly, sophomoric humor with a lot of sexual innuendo you might want to check these out. I’m not sure about “By The Sea”, but I do know that “The Picnic”, the one I talk about in the comic, doesn’t have any dialogue. It’s the kind of comedy that doesn’t use wordplay but a lot of physical and visual humor.
