Daily Comic Journal: April 5, 2019: “Losing Pays Off.”
I’ve done similar contests when I’ve worked elsewhere, I think I did it while at K’NEX, and when we weighed in there, everyone participating were all in the same room, weighing in at the same time. Here, though, you just weighed yourself on your own, then e-mailed our receptionist the number.
In the six months I’ve been here I’ve noticed a lot of trust everyone has, in everyone else. For example, in our break room there are boxes of snacks and a little fridge with pop. If you want any of that, you simply put the cost of the item in a strong box, that’s sitting there, filled with money, then take the product you’re buying. Everyone just trusts everyone else that they’re going to do the right thing.
Hmmm… I should probably draw a comic about this some day. If I’m ever pressed to have something to write about.
