Sure, all we’re doing is sitting down watching TV, but because I’ve been away from my family all those years (34 to be exact) and my father’s passed away (7 years now) I’m glad I can spend some time with my mom like this, enjoying theses shows.

I was kind of surprised to find out that my mom watches “The Big Bang Theory”. Perhaps not too surprised, considering it’s a CBS show and CBS seems to attract a very old audience, but I like to think that she started watching it because the main characters read & collect comic books. After having put up with me, her son, growing up all those years as a comic book nerd, she probably had an inclination to the subject matter.
